Helen Crafter, a Senior Lecturer in Midwifery at Thames Valley University recently commented on our education days.

“Action on Pre-eclampsia’s midwifery study days have been developed over many years to meet the practice and education needs of midwives and student midwives so they can provide optimal care for women and babies. The lively day includes expert and experienced speakers, opportunities for discussion and meeting other midwives, and take-home information to make sure that participants leave the day brimming with up-to-date knowledge and understanding of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, and increased confidence to help them recognise, refer and support women appropriately”

A comment recently made by a student midwife who attended our study day was;

“This was a fantastic study day to do just before my exams, it has helped me understand the condition a lot more clearly and has given me a huge amount of information to help with my clinical practice.”
