A Request from Helen Crafter, Chair of APEC

'Dear supporters and pre-eclampsia sufferers,

It is time for a new edition of our APEC pre-eclampsia book - can you help?

At APEC we think it is time for a new book on pre-eclampsia and hypertension in pregnancy, for all of us affected by the disease. Having given it some thought, we feel this should be a book both by, and for those most affected - women, family members, and and health workers to give a true picture of what this condition is, and what it means to different people.

Here's how you can help. We would like to collect questions that need answers, ideas about what you want in the content, and stories about how pre-eclampsia and other hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (eg HELLP) have affected you that you agree to be published (these can be anonymous). I look forward to hearing from you through the APEC office or by email at helen.crafter@apec.org.uk
